No Place Like Home.

Yes, I made it back.

In two words, my trip to Toledo was "frakkin' awesome". I went to a wedding, met some nerds, saw the Evil Dead Musical in the "splatter zone", took some naps, did some writing, became an expert at putting someone else's hair in a pony tail (it's all in the wrists, baby), realized how very FLAT the midwest is, and played three very awesome games. My crit partner also found out she doesn't need surgery or a cast to heal her elbow. She only needs to wear a sling.

So, we do not have to feel bad for her anymore. Wink.

I have decided to extend my blog-cation through this week. I'll be around leaving comments on other blogs, etc., but I may have no posts on here until next Monday.

Also, check out my blog buddy Florence's interview here and enter to win a $15 Amazon gift card.

  7. I'm with Jenna, a post on Evil Dead Musical is warranted.

The midwest is very flat. Though I do love it for inspiration, flat, open land is fabulous to dream on. Build platforms, create characters... pretty much everything.

Enjoy your blogcation...you will be missed (by me).

  10. I have fond memories of Toledo, but you're right, driving through Indiana and Ohio is pretty much the same experience. Midwest = boring landscape.

  17. I saw Evil Dead. It was a fun show. My friends sat in the splatter zone, but they got all of us at the end. It was a small theater. Glad you had a great time.
